Diana is an award winning professional freelance hair and make up artist. Her passion for creativity, colour and attention to detail came at an early age, she has always had a fascination about how hair and make up can enhance the way a person looks and feels.
Diana initially trained in Make- up artistry with Helen Cannon, who has been a Make up Artist for 32 years, a leading Make up Artist in film who currently works for the BBC.
Diana has further developed her skills and training in advanced make up techniques with Sara Hill, Celebrity Make up Artist and Director of The Academy of Make up. Sara has worked globally with the biggest names in fashion, advertising, television and music.
Having studied at the Academy of Make up, Diana is part of the Academy´s Pro Team where she uses her skills in hair and make up at events such as fashion shows, photo shoots, charity shows and make up promotion.
For example Diana has worked behind the scenes on exciting commissions such as The Scottish Style Awards, at Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow, Its Good 2 Give, Cancer Charity Fashion Show, at The Tom Fleming Centre for Performing Arts, Edinburgh, as well as working alongside ex Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt at the Clothes Show Live, Birmingham in promoting her cruelty free mineral make up brand BM Beauty.
Hair Styling Training
To compliment her make up expertise, Diana has trained in hair styling with Karen McDougall, one of the most sought after freelance stylists in the UK. Karen is also the creator of K3D Hair colour, an innovation in creative hair colour techniques.
Being trained to a high standard, Diana continues to update her craft in this ever evolving industry.
Diana firmly believes that great hair and make up begins with quality products therefore her kit comprises of prime industry brands such as Laura Mercier, Illamasqua, MAC, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury, Label M, and TIGI to name a few – these products she relies on to give a guaranteed flawless finish.
Where Diana is Based
Diana is based in Argyll, on the west coast of Scotland, however will travel to whatever location… no destination is too far!
